The terms, in plain words.

These terms apply when you order a film from Structured Scale Studio, a small motion studio run by Structured Scale.

What we make

Short films about products, with picture, sound and voice, delivered as MP4 files, and the pieces around them: add-ons, a Launch Kit, App Store previews, website loops, carousels and bigger orders. USD 100 buys one film in one format, vertical (9:16) or horizontal (16:9); USD 150 buys the same film in both. Every price is on the pricing page, in US dollars. There is no retainer or subscription.

How a project runs

You send the product. We send a draft: a script and a storyboard for a film, a style frame for a loop, a sketch for stills and kits. Nothing is built until you approve the draft; if it is not right, we try another angle.

Payment

You pay the full price when you order, add-ons included, before we start the draft. Payment on this site goes through a checkout page run by Stripe; we never see your card number.

Delivery

Delivery is counted in business days from your approval of the draft. If a date matters, tell us at the start and we will say whether we can meet it.

• Film, both formats: 3 business days
• Rush: the next business day. Three hook versions: one business day more.
• Launch Kit: 5 business days
• App Store preview: 3 business days after your screen recordings arrive
• Website hero loop: 3 business days
• Product carousel: 2 business days
• Three-film pack: 3 business days per film, all three within 60 days of ordering
• Longer film: 5 business days
• Feature update film: 2 business days

Changes

The draft can change until you approve it. Two rounds of changes on the finished piece are included; more can be added for +USD 25 a round.

Refunds

If you do not approve any draft, you get your money back in full, add-ons included. Once a piece has been made from a draft you approved, it is not refunded; the two rounds of changes apply instead.

Using the film

Once paid for, what we make is yours to use anywhere: post it, run it as an ad, put it on your site or your App Store page, with no time limit. We may show it in our own work unless you ask us not to.

The films and examples shown on this site are concept pieces we made to show what we do. The brands in them are not clients and did not commission them.
