A SaaS launch video has a narrower job than an explainer. On launch day people see it once, in a feed, between other posts and often with the sound off. It has to say what is new and why it matters before they scroll on, then show it working.
So a launch film is built around the moment: the new thing in the opening frames, the product doing it in the middle, and the name and where to find it at the end. It runs 15 to 30 seconds, it reads with the sound off, and it is cut for each place it will be posted rather than squeezed into all of them.
It starts, like every film we make, with a script and a storyboard you approve. Nothing is animated until you say yes, which matters most when the date is fixed.
