Lovable, just say it

It opens on a meadow in warm light and one question, “Got an idea?” Then “Just say it.”, and the idea is typed into a single box, a booking app for my hiking tours, before the pointer presses send. “Building your app” works through its steps one at a time: planning pages, designing the UI, database and bookings, login and payments. The list folds into one orange dot, the dot bursts into many, and they gather into the finished app: Trailhead, a guided hike booked on a snowy ridge above the clouds, with the route traced up the mountain. From there a stream of landscape cards flows past “Build anything” and into a warm glow for “Build something Lovable.”, Lovable’s own line from their homepage, before their logo lands above “Start building”. No voice: the music carries it. Trailhead and its screens were drawn for this film, the landscape photographs are from Unsplash, and the logo and the glow’s colours are Lovable’s own, from their brand hub.
